Race Etiquette and Patriotism with Fatimah Gilliam, Esq.

What is the difference in white privilege vs white welfare? Why is it controversial to say that all white people are racist?

In this series on healthcare and social disparities, Dr. Jill Wener, a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist, anti-racism educator, meditation expert, and tapping practitioner, interviews experts and gives her own insights into multiple fields relating to social justice and anti-racism. In this episode, Jill interviews Fatimah Gilliam, Esq., author of Race Rules: Race Rules: What Your Black Friend Won’t Tell You. They talk about race etiquette, Gilliam’s interpretation of patriotism, and her experiences related to her light skin tone.
