Dr. Jill Wener demonstrates the mind/body connection related to the REST meditation technique to a group of meditation students.

Learn To Meditate With Jill

Jill’s philosophy about meditation is simple: It should be easy to do and provide life-altering benefits.

Ever heard of adaptation energy? Consider it your bank account of patience that you can build by meditating. Adaptation energy is your secret weapon, and it will help you (peacefully and happily) fight any and all of the stressors that life throws at you.

An example of a student's REST meditation tracker, which has an area to mark off twice-a-day meditation and a written section to describe how you feel. Phrases like "more rested" and "less easily frustrated" are circled for emphasis.

It’s quite common to enter into a meditation practice and quickly give up. You’re an active, busy person with to-do lists and a racing mind. We all are! It can be hard to sit still, especially in an uncomfortable position!

You’ve already tried mindfulness courses. You’ve already sat through guided visualizations, waiting for the results to magically arrive.

You haven’t meditated like this before.

This technique is unique. Sit comfortably while you meditate anywhere. The best part? You can actually do it!

Jill has created two REST Technique online courses to meet your meditation needs:

The online REST Technique courses include the following:

  • 15 incredible modules packed with information on how to meditate, fit the practice effortlessly into your schedule, set boundaries, and form healthy habits

  • Multimedia learning with videos, a PDF-fillable REST Technique workbook, self-reflection exercises, infographics, and audio files

  • Access to ongoing support and guidance through a private Facebook group just for the course

  • 2 years of access to the course material and a lifetime of access to the Facebook group

  • Tons of incredible bonuses (an intro to Tapping/EFT, meditation tips for new moms and shift workers, a guided compassion meditation, and more!)

  • 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)(Meditation for Doctors and Healthcare Heroes only)

An individual follows along with online meditation courses on their computer.

Ready to start meditating?

After suffering a period of burnout, I tried tried many forms of meditation: in person, workshops, apps, recorded, guided, body-surveys, focused. I always felt that meditation was not for me, but I wanted to find a practice that could help address my anxiety and fatigue. When I heard of Dr Wener’s evidence-based, self-paced, CME accredited meditation course specifically designed for doctors, I was intrigued.

I appreciated her thoughtful, scientific approach to meditation, and I related to her story of burnout and transformation. The course itself is well designed for busy doctors. I still enjoy the facebook group where Dr Wener answers my ongoing questions as my practice stalls or deepens.

Within two weeks of starting the course, I felt calmer, and my need for afternoon coffee diminished. I felt less reactive. My beliefs around time-scarcity (I’ll never have enough time for twice daily meditation!) were proven false, and I actually crave the pause in my day to meditate.

The REST Technique continues to be part of my overall wellness program, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a better experience in life.
